Your children are writing a paper about their family history. They were given two notes over the last 3 weeks. During the Thanksgiving break they were asked to interview a family member to learn about their history. The focus of the paper is to show the many reasons that families leave one country to start a new life in another country. We call these the push (why they left) and pull (why they went to a new country) factors.
There were so many students that did not talk to their families and gather information/notes about their history. Please make sure you have taken time to help them with this project. A reminder is coming home tonight so that we can spend the next 3 days in class writing the essay.
There is no spelling test or daily work this week. The students could use the time to read and review their multiplication facts, especially 6s through 12s.
End of Module Test will be MONDAY! Please have your student study over the weekend.
Here are the study guides below:
Today we are going to look at the Book Fair. If they have money today that is great. If not they can shop another day during the week.

Thank you for making our Halloween party absolutely fantastic today. Miss. Vuichard’s class and ours had a blast. We started with homemade pancakes and toppings. The students decorated their pumpkins and made a craft. Next there was mummy bowling. We wrapped up the party by making mummies. There was so much fun and laughter. We couldn’t have done it without the organization and donations from our parents. Thank you again for giving your time to our classes. We truly appreciate it.
