Fossils
We have been exploring fossils in science. There are several songs and videos to help the students understand the different types of fossils and what we can learn from them.

Kindness Matters
Our class is working hard to improve the level of kindness in our classroom and wherever we are. Ask them what they did today that showed kindness.
The Past Week
The students gave their presentations in science on “How to Reduce our Carbon Footprint.” The next unit we started to work on this week is Waves. We are examining what sound is and how it is transferred by vibrations.
One day of parent/teacher conferences completed and 2 more evenings next week. I sent home the conference reminder slips today.

Science Tomorrow
Please send in an empty paper towel roll or toilet paper roll tomorrow. We are using the cardboard tubes for science. If you have an extra we would love to have it for a student who might not have one. Thank you.
