Today we had a couple of special visitors.  In the morning, we had a former Oakman student, Rana Elhusseini, come and read to us.  Rana is a senior at Fordson High School and just received a full scholarship to college for her academics and basketball.  She even played a little basketball against Adam.

In the afternoon, we had another special visitor, author Maria Dismondy.  She took time to show us how she begins writing a book and all the steps involved. It was so interesting!

Tomorrow is Crazy Hair Day and Mis-match Day.  Come in your strangest outfit and enjoy the day!  Below is a calendar for the March is Reading Month Activities.

Homework

Math– Do Workbook page 120 in Succeed.  Sign and correct your facts test.

Social Studies– Study your States and Capitals for Monday’s test.

Spelling– Write words 11-20 in sentences.

Read your pledge minutes and write in your log.
