Mrs. Gartha's 5th Grade Blog

Today we had the pleasure to meet Mr. Khodr Farhat, a motivational speaker and employee of the district.  Mr. Farhat was born blind and talked to the kids about overcoming a disability.  They were fascinated with how he copes with everyday life and has accomplished so much.  What an inspiration!

WIDA testing continued today with the reading portion.  We will be testing in writing on Friday.

The homework load is not too heavy tonight so be sure that your child practices for Friday’s spelling test.
