Over this short break, make sure that your child reads everyday.  They do have work assigned.  Be sure that an hour a day is carved out to do it…not rushed on Sunday night.  Also, the Oakman Math-a-Thon takes place on Tuesday next week.  Be sure to have your child practice on-line.

Don’t forget, next Friday, November 30th is our 5th Grade Literacy Parent Meeting at 1:30 p.m.  Be sure to come!!

Homework

Spelling– Write words 3 times each in your spiral notebook.  Write words 11-20 in sentences in your spiral notebook.  Study for the test on Monday.

Math- Sign and correct your facts test.  Study for the Math-a-Thon.

Read everyday (yes, even Thanksgiving) and make 4 log entries.

Watch the news on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

Eat lots of turkey!!!
