This is another busy week.  Wednesday is Walk or Bike to School Day!  Try your best to participate.  All students that do participate will receive a nutritious treat and a chance to win one of three bike helmets!

On Wednesday, we will be having 2 assemblies.  In the morning, we will enjoy a science presentation.  In the afternoon, the kids will watch a play of the # Billy Goats Gruff with a special message.

Don’t forget, this Friday is a half day.

Homework

Spelling– Write your words 3 times each in your spiral.

Read 20 minutes and write in your log.

This Week’s Objectives

Literacy

-The students will continue identifying reading strategies and finding the main ideas and key details in text.

Writing

– The students will continue work on their opinion pieces and identifying credible sources and applying them to their paper.

Science

-The students will be classifying objects based on identified properties.

Social Studies

– The students will be thinking like a historian and identifying the difference between primary and secondary sources.

Math

-The students will be working on adding and subtracting decimals.
