Starting this week, you child will be learning their states and capitals.  We will begin slow with a region, the Southwest, that has only 4 states and 4 capitals.  The kids are to be able to locate them on a map and know which state and capital go together.  Extra credit will be awarded if they can spell them correctly.  Please assist them with this endeavor at home.  You night learn them too!

Homework

Spelling–  Write words 1-10 in sentences in your notebook

Math– Do Learn page 157 and study for your facts test.

Read your pledge time and write in your log.
