Michigan’s weather is surely unpredictable!  Yesterday we were in the 50’s and today our windchill is at 0!  Yikes!  Be sure that you are watching the weather and your child is dressed properly.

Don’t forget to join us on Monday for Oakman’s Family S.T.E.M. night!  It will take place from 4;30-6:00 and should be educational and FUN!  This is organized by the Ann Arbor’s Hand On Museum.

Over the weekend, be sure to have your child work on the educational sites:  Zearn, Study Island, Exact Path, Khan Academy and/or Moby Max.  Next week I’ll send home the results of their NWEA tests and they will be able to use the RIT scores to help improve their learning.

Our money raising efforts to clean the oceans will continue through the month of February.  Donations are appreciated.  Our classroom goal is to raise $100.  So far, we have collected $21.50.

Homework

Science- Complete the paragraph writing on recycling (two paragraphs- what recycling does and why it will help our environment)

Read your pledge minutes everyday and make two log entries.
