It’s so hard to believe that December has arrived and we have only three weeks left of school in 2018! Where has the time gone?
This week we will be starting cursive. Before long, the class will be expected to do their work in cursive.
Book orders are due Wednesday!
This Friday at 9:00, Mr. AbuRus will be having a Parent Meeting in the Cafeteria. Please add this to your calendar and be sure to join him!
Homework
Spelling– Write your words 3 times each in your spiral. Sign and correct your test
Read 20 minutes and write in your log.
This Week’s Objectives
Literacy
-The students will work at writing a letter with a purpose along with a partner, relationships of events in using chronological order and inferencing in text.
Writing
– The students will finish working on our opinion paper, how to use appropriate transition words and then look at the elements of a narrative.
Science
-The students will take a quiz on the four spheres of Earth and then continue studying the water on Earth, where it is found and how to protect it from contaminants.
Social Studies
– The students will be presenting the reports done on the American native Indians, then use the information gathered to take a test. Next, we will be studying the explorers of the new world.
Math
-The students will continue working on dividing whole numbers and decimals with and without remainders, finishing Module 1.
