Another busy week is here!  Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Parent-Teacher Conferences continue.  Below is a list of the conferences scheduled for Tuesday evening.

The Canned Food Drive ends this Wednesday.  Please send in any items you can to support this worthy cause.

The Mobile Dentists will be here this Wednesday.  If your child sent in a form, they should be seen.

A special outing for Oakman students and their families at Zap Zone.  Join the fun on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m.  More information will be coming.

Homework

Spelling– Write your words 3 times each in your spiral.  Sign and correct your spelling test.

Read 20 minutes and write in your log.

This Week’s Objectives

Literacy

-The students will continue working at understanding domain-specific vocabulary, identifying key details in text and analyzing a personal letter and identifying its parts.

Writing

– The students will work on taking notes and paraphrasing them in their own words and then writing a comparison lead.

Science

-The students will study the 4 Earth systems and how they interact.

Social Studies

– The students will be studying the four American native Indians regions, their locations and comparing and contrasting them.

Math

-The students will work on multiplying and dividing.
