Your kids will sure be busy tonight!  Tomorrow they will be having two tests (social studies and spelling).  We spent a lot of time reviewing for social studies in class today but at least 15 minutes of review at home will be extremely helpful. If your child has any questions regarding homework or test preparations, I will be at school about 8:00 tomorrow morning to help.

Some of the 5th graders are struggling with their math facts.  We take 2 minute tests each week to help the kids increase their speed with facts.  If your child happens to have trouble with them, please encourage them to work on some of the online math sites.  If you can’t, I can always give them flash cards to use.

Homework

Spelling– Write words 1 times each in alphabetical order on lined paper.  Study for the test.

Math– Sign and correct facts test.  Do Succeed pages 29-30

Social Studies– Study for the test on the branches of government, how a bill becomes a law and the first 5 amendments.

Read at least 20 minutes and write in your log.
