• All Hours completed the Algebra Readiness Test (30 questions, 30 minutes, No calculator). This is NOT a test that is entered into the grade book for report cards. It is one of three criteria we use to determine if any students are ready for a placement in advanced math (Algebra 1) for 8th grade. Students need to score 22 out of 30 or better, which is 73%. The other two criteria are a student’s summative test/quiz average (must be 90% or higher) and their spring NWEA score (235 or higher). Any students that meet all three criteria will be given notification next week.
• On Thursday, some students will be finishing up the Geometry unit test.
• A Note about Retakes….anyone that would like to come in for a retake on either or both of their recent quizzes should plan on making time for it as soon as possible before or after school. The last day for retakes is Tuesday 6/13.

*May Khan Academy minutes:
– 120 minutes due 6/11 (NOTE THE EXTENDED DUE DATE)
– make sure you have at least 60 minutes of SKILL time! Many students have only been watching videos.
