Happenings for May 8th – 12th

8th Grade:
Students have started their next unit on safety in the technology lab. We are learning about the machines, power tools and hand tools used in the technology lab, how to use them safely and how to keep ourselves safe while using them. Our safety test will be on Friday!
7th Grade:
This week we begin our unit on architecture. We are discussing the 4 areas of a house, what a plot plan is, different types of homes (one story, two story, split-level), how to design a kitchen and bathroom and finally, how to use symbols to draw a floor plan.
6th Grade:
We continue with the board game designs. We have some great ideas in this grade! I cannot wait until we can play them!
