1.Glue in TDA rubric to our interactive notebooks

2.New Unit 3 notes – Poetry

3.Figurative Language glue in and review – we will review all of these in class tomorrow.

HOMEWORK:  Book check in January 22^nd – have 3 books read with notes/annotations.

6th Grade

2.Review stories and create an outline – we created a class outline of the introduction and body paragraph #1 for both stories. This will TREMENDOUSLY help students write their essays tomorrow.

3.Answer the following TDA question:  Of the two characters, Aaron and Mako, which one was the bravest?  Explain in a Text Dependent Analysis 1.“Aaron’s Gift” page 248 2.“The Ghost of the Lagoon” page 208
