8th Grade

1. Watch Ms. Fryzel’s weekly video – I will point out and discuss light/dark imagery and animal imagery in Chapter 1.
2. Read Chapter 2 of THE PEARL (pages 7-10)
3. Journals x2
4. Complete the 2 CER questions centered around Chapter 2.
5. Be sure that you are working on your capstone essay – Due in two weeks.
6. Office Hours: Tuesday @ 3 PM

6th Grade

1. Watch Ms. Fryzel’s weekly video – A discussion of Chapters 13-16.
2. Read Chapters 17 – 20 of THE WESTING GAME (pages 120-148)
3. Police Investigation slide show due WEDNESDAY – it is important that you READ THE RUBRIC!
