NWEA testing starts tomorrow with the reading test. It is important that you are here for testing. HOWEVER, the flu has started to hit STEM. Please stay home if this is the case.

8th Grade

JOURNAL:  Would You Rather – – donate your body to science or your organs to people who need them?  Explain.

1.Read, annotate, and discuss “The Charge of the Light Brigade” as a class.  Look for figurative language and meaning. (Poem is in Google Classroom).

2.“A Narrow Fellow in the Grass” by Emily Dickinson (with your team) – (Poem is in Google Classroom)

HOMEWORK:  IXLs E.5, E,6, and 9.G.2 (90% for all 3) – DUE TOMORROW.  Next book check in has been moved to January 22nd due to NWEA testing.

6th Grade

JOURNAL:  First Semester – – Now that you have finished your first semester of middle school AND as STEM students, what has been the good and the bad?  Explain.
