JOURNAL: College Essay –  – Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more? – National Common Application

Individually students completed 3 reflection questions about their speeches, based on the feedback and other speeches that they heard.

HOMEWORK:  IXLs C.3 and G.3 (95%) by Wednesday, October 23.

6th Grade

JOURNAL:  Quotation Marks – – Write 8 sentences using quotation marks in the 4 different ways (2 sentences per each option).

1.  Personal children’s book challenge.

2.  Plan out with a plot diagram

3.  Start the exposition

HOMEWORK:  Book projects are due in 2 days JIXL  6.LL.4 (90%) and 5.SS.4 (90%) – Due Friday.
