JOURNAL:  Speaker – – Explain someone who is a powerful and a believable speaker.  Explain what makes that person a believable speaker.

1.Small group read two speeches (Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams) – box and summarize

2.After you box and summarize, highlight and label the different arguments:

  a.  Blue – pathos

  b.  Red – ethos

  c.  Green – logos

HOMEWORK:  No homework.

6th Grade

Students took their quiz today on plot diagram, conflict, and theme. There was no journal today.

HOMEWORK: Just a reminder that your book project is due in 24 days. Make sure that you are reading at home!
