Just a reminder that tomorrow is a half a day. We will be running hours 1, 2, and 3. There will be NO electives and Monday will be an “A” day.

8th Grade

Journal:  Ad – – Explain an ad that you have seen that is an excellent example of Ethos.

Groups continued to work on their ad projects. The struggle today was creating a slogan that not only was catch/memorable, but also tied their visual to the slogan.

HOMEWORK:  No homework.

6th Grade

3rd Hour:

JOURNAL:  Would You Rather – – hit your funny bone 5 times until it isn’t funny anymore or listen to fingernails scraping a chalkboard for 20 minutes?  Explain.

1.Read “Aunt Misery” page 754

2.Create a plot diagram with a partner.

HOMEWORK:  Bring your 2^nd notebook to class on MONDAY.

6th Hour

JOURNAL:  Story Dice – – Have a seat, take your journal paper out, and wait for me to roll the dice.

1.Finish and discuss the plot diagram for “Aunt Misery”

2.Start to read “The Crane Maiden”

HOMEWORK:  Bring 2^nd notebook to class on Monday.
