We’ve got some great news to share! Zaman International will be at Dearborn High on Wednesday from 10-12:00 pm to deliver 250 boxes of food to families that may need them; the boxes feed a family of four for 1-2 weeks.
Feel free to use the south side of the building where normal breakfast and lunch pickup occurs.
Thanks Najah Bazzy and Zaman International for their generosity!
Thanks
Mr. Martin

EverFresh Market is giving away free meat and chicken to any families that are in need. The market is located right down the street from River Oaks Elementary. Anyone can walk into the store and take anything that they may need from the meat section that’s marked with a plain white sticker. They can then take the items to the register and have them bagged. The address is 20125 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights. Here is the Instagram link where they explain the process.

Raz-Kids:5 books and quizzes per week. Students can record their voice for reading. If your child has shorter books, they need to read 2-3 books per DAY. Your child should listen, read AND do the quiz for each book. They need to be working on level up, not in the reading room. Also, if your child is having trouble on the quiz with a specific skill for example, the author’s purpose: they can use IXL to strengthen their skill then complete the quiz. Social Studies
Read Section 4 of Michigan’s Government and answer the questions on the response sheet in Google Classroom under G3- Social Studies.
I have attached a Google Form to be completed stating that your child may use Google Meet to meet with me and other students. In Google Meet you are able to turn off cameras and microphones, if you wish, and just listen and/or watch.
Here is a short video on logging into Clever and student resources. This is my first time using this and I’m no social media influencer- so don’t judge too harshly!
