With Ramadan upon us, please be sure to complete a survey that went home letting me know whether your child will be fasting or not. There has been some confusion the last couple days, so I have sent a note home to hopefully clear up any misunderstandings so that I can support your child with following your wishes. The options on the survey are:
- Yes, my child is fasting.
- Yes, my child is trying to fast, but may break it if they feel unwell or are unable to perform academically.
- No, my child is not fasting.
Students who are fasting will still need to participate fully in all curricular/academic activities. We have a lot of instruction left to do before summer break including several district mandated assessments.
