- Thank you for working on letter formation. Our writing is starting to improve. Please keep practicing.
- We have been working on basic facts through 20 with our Math Sprints. Students should be using strategies such as Near 10, doubles, doubles +/- 1, +1, +0 to help them solve these problems. Students should be getting about 22 problems done in a minute. When doing Sprints, students should be completing them in order down the page. They should NOT jump around. The Sprints are designed so that each problem builds upon the previous problem or group of problems. This is to encourage looking for patterns and relationships between numbers and problems.
