This is a question that I hear a lot even though I post it on the board every day. And the answer changes depending on which day it is. Our lunch moves around each day because of which specials we have that day. Some days we eat at 11:30 and others not until 12:30. To help with this, every morning children have the opportunity to eat a healthy snack brought from home. A snack is single serving of a healthy food that can be eaten in under 6 minutes. Students may eat only one snack. We do not have an afternoon snack. Please do not send juice. This is a food only snack. Our class has been doing an excellent job making healthy choices and it shows in their behavior and work!
**Please remember to to help your child pick out a healthy snack every day. Some days it is 4 hours between breakfast and lunch. Kids need a little something to keep their brain and body fueled and operating at peak performance.
