- What do you need to focus on this month in order to improve? Come up with a detailed plan for how you plan to accomplish this.

Tuesday 12/4:
- Word Part Mini-Presentations – ask a neighbor for the notes if you were absent!
- Sample Evidence Bucketing Activity
- Students were given partial claims along with supporting evidence. Students had to sort the evidence and find connections in order to categorize them. Students then labeled this connection in order to come up with their three reasons for the claim.
Wednesday 12/5:
- Argumentative Essay Assignment Sheet & Introduction

- LIBRARY VISIT – if you were absent, you have to find your own time to visit the library outside of class.

- Continue working on Evidence T-Chart – see Google Classroom for more information!
- Once you’ve gathered all of the evidence you can, using the highlighter function on Google Docs, highlight similar pieces of evidence to make color-coded groups of ideas. (combine or delete ideas as needed)
- Remember: tomorrow is the Sassy Sentences Assessment! Review this chart along with your booklets in preparation.
