Hello!

Today we learned more about how to create and use exponential growth and decay models. we learned that exponential growth models use (1+r) because the number has to be larger than 1 to grow and decay models use (1-r) because the number has to be less than 1 to decrease.

The notes can be found online under lesson 6-1.

The homework tonight is the “Do You Understand?” and “Do You Know How?” sections which is assigned online and in the workbook page 142.

Hello!

Today we reviewed our 2 earliest topics: Sequences and Series, and Functions and their Inverses. We worked in groups with specific group roles to help the group progress together.

Here is the review we did today:

Be sure you are also working through your Final Exam Study Guide on your own too!

Hello and welcome back!

Today we talked about ratios and proportions and why they are important. Proportions are used in many different situations, including art, food preparation, and sales.

I found one video intriguing about how you should use proportions in car design. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1J5aQ2Matz8

Here are some other videos on proportions I found that might help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOn7c7PdnTk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhC60BmRO2Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bml74_PsfwA
