Time to nominate your favorite Dearborn teacher!
It’s time for students to nominate their
favorite Dearborn Public Schools teacher for the 2020 Alberta Muirhead Teacher
of the Year Students’ Choice Award, sponsored by the Dearborn Area Chamber of
Commerce and presented by LaFontaine Automotive Group. The nomination deadline is Monday, March 9, 2020 at 5 p.m.
This is an important reflective piece for students. Having students recognize those that have helped them will add value to their education. It is also important that students know they can recognize present and past teachers, and those in special areas.

On Friday, February 14th, our class will have a ‘Friendship Party’ in celebration of Valentine’s Day! your child may bring in small, individually wrapped candies and/or Valentine’s cards to pass out to their classmates (we have 22 students total). You do not HAVE to send in cards or candy if you do not wish.
We are looking forward forward to the next holiday celebration in class! Thanks in advance for contributing to the fun!
Dear Families:
Spelling is a very important skill. Each week I will distribute a new list of spelling words to each student. The list will also be posted on the classroom iblog just incase the list is misplaced. We will have a Spelling Test on the Friday of each week to assess students’ spelling accuracy. On the weeks with less than three days, there will be no spelling.
