October 31st – Halloween Parade
On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, our class will be parading, in costume, around the outside track at 2:00, if it doesn’t rain. Costumes should be RESPECTFUL and NOT considered violent in any way. Your child CANNOT have any blood, knives, guns or any weapons with his/her costume. If your child does not have a costume, consider dressing him/her in orange and black for the day. Your child must come to school with his/her clothes ready to learn. He/she must carry his/her costume in a bag with your child’s name on both. Your child must be able to put his/her costume on over his/her clothes at 1:45 PM.
If you would like to bring in one bag of indiviually wrapped candy on Wednesday (or another small Halloween treat) to pass out to the entire class, then we have 16 students in our class.
If you would like to volunteer in help in the afternoon, you must have filled out the volunteer form in the office at least 10 days before today. Your child will be bringing home lots of things. Please make sure that nothing else is in your child’s backpack.
Thank you for your support,
Ms. Fadhl

Field trip Tomorrow
Dear Families,
Kindergarten is going on a field trip to the DeBuck’s Corn Maze this Tuesday, October 16, 2018. We will leave school at 9:45 a.m. and return to school around 2:00p.m. Your child MUST wear tennis shoes, long pants and a jacket! Students and chaperones MUST also pack their own healthy lunch in a brown bag. Chaperones will carry bagged lunches to our lunch location, so please nothing too heavy. Please NO glass or reusable containers because everything will be thrown away!
Chaperones, please be at school no later than 9:25 am.
Thank you,
The Kindergarten Team

Healthy Snack
Henry Ford Elementary School – Healthy Snack begins today! We are excited to have a healthy snack being provided by the state to feed our kiddos on Tuesday – Fridays. Unfortunately, NO Monday snack will be provided.
These snacks are usually fresh fruit and vegetables, YUM! However, many students do not like the vegetable or fruits provided and will not eat them. We are given various produce and they can be unique choices like raw Brussels sprouts or three strawberries only. So PLEASE continue to give your students a healthy snack daily so I have no hungry students. Remember our lunch is at 1:00 so it is a very long morning with no food.
Daily snack is required for all my students.
Thank you for your support!
