Poetry can be anything environmental. April ispoetry month and Earth Day is April 22. Flowers,animals, pollution etc. are examples. Pleaseencourage your students to be creativity and try towrite a poem!!!
Kindergarten can dictate their poems, if you want.Poems should not be copied from somewhere else.
Families: The school provides fruit or vegetable snack program will be finished on Friday April 20th. Please remember that our class does not eat lunch until 1:05, students get hungry. Students need a healthy snack from home everyday!!
Jump Rope for Heart information is coming home today!!!
Kids can join an exciting fundraising event where they learn heart healthy skills, have fun jumping rope and raising money for the American Heart Association.
Please look in their folders for all the information regarding this wonderful program!!!
Kindergarten is going on a field trip to the Detroit Zoo on May 1, 2018.
We will leave school at 9:00 a.m. and return to school around 2:00 p.m. The cost of the trip is
$11.00 per student or chaperone. Please return permission slip to school no later than April 20, 2018.
Field trips are a privilege. PBIS expectations of being safe, responsible and respectful, must be followed. If your child gets his or her card flipped to RED between now and the date of our field trip, he or she will not be allowed to go on the field trip with us. He or she will be placed in another classroom while our class is gone. NO refunds will be issued.
Students must pack their own healthy lunch in a brown bag. We will be eating our bag lunches at the picnic area in the zoo. Please NO glass containers or reusable container because everything will be thrown away!
