Parent University is starting up at several schools in Dearborn. We are looking forward to a great Fall Parent University.  No RSVP is needed.  This program is for all parents with children ages 6 months to 4 years old. We encourage parents to bring their child for an interactive hour of parent / child activities.

Greetings Oakman Parents and Students, As our Summer vacation is winding down, back to school preparations are in order. Some families have requested school supply list so that they can take advantage of back to school sales. While we are providing a generic list, please be advised that the Dearborn Public Schools provide all school supplies and learning materials required for all students in all programs. The following list are supplies that your student may to bring in for their personal use: Headphones (for listening to reading and working on chromes) 4 dry erase markers (10 is ideal- one for each month) I dry erase eraser 5 spiral notebooks (different colors- red, blue, yellow, green, black) 5 folders (different colors- red, blue, yellow, green, black) 4 pencils 1 eraser 2 highlighters 1 box of colored pencils 1 glue stick hand sanitizer 1 pencil box/ pouch (to keep school supplies in) 1 ruler 1 refillable water bottle (with name) 1 backpack 1 pad of sticky notes NO BINDERS, TRAPPER KEEPERS OR PERMANENT MARKERS Possible Classroom Donations: Kleenex Tissues Clorax wipes Ziploc Bags (Gallon or Quart size) Paper towels, napkins, paper plates, paper cups, plastic spoons & forks Bandaids white paper lunch bags hand sanitizer lifesaver mints smarties dry erase markers sticky notes wet ones hand wipes scotch tape loose leaf paper
