Today has become known as Giving Tuesday, an opportunity for people to donate their time, talents, physical items, or financial resources to the charity or cause of their choice. And that choice is very personal. It is usually made because of a life experience that has connected us with a certain cause or organization. 

For almost 30 years the Dearborn Education Foundation (a separate 501c3 organization) has raised and returned over $2,000,000 directly to the teachers, students, and classrooms in the Dearborn Public Schools. Their work is funded by yearly events, business partners,  and from the contributions of individuals.
