For the next few weeks students will be staying home. To support student learning, we will be posting resources and ideas for students to work on at home. Please continue to visit our blog for ways to support your child’s education.

Good morning Maples Families,

As we all listened to our Governor yesterday, we probably know that schools will be closed for a while. It is important at this time that our students do their academic work. Reading and math are crucial. Please go to your teachers’ blog or class dojo and keep doing your work. Also please be responsible and safe. These are scary times. Always wash your hands and try to avoid areas with crowds.

Join us to celebrate how special our mama’s are. 

Children, Parents and Staff will sing, play and engage in activities together from 8:45-10:00am.

Dear Maples Families,

This November we are participating in an exciting fundraising event at our school: Pennies for Patients! We are asking that students bring in any spare change they can to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Even little bits of spare change add up to help fund research and find a cure for cancer. During the month of November, we have so much to be thankful and grateful for, and donating to such a great cause is a great way to show this. Each classroom teacher will collect the spare change in a jar, and at the end of the month, the class that raises the most money will receive a pasta party from Olive Garden! Also be on the look-out for the donation jars during Parent-Teacher Conferences! Please let your child’s teacher know if you have any questions.

حضرة الأهالي الكرام,

سوف نشارك في مدرستنا  هذا الشهر في حدث مثير لجمع التبرعات : Pennies for Patients (سنتات أو قروش من أجل المرضى).  نطلب من الطلاب إحضار بضعة قروش أو نقود في وسعهم الحصول عليها للتبرع لجمعية سرطان الدم والأورام اللمفاوية. كل قرش يُجمع يكون له أهمية للمساعدة في تمويل البحوث التي تعمل على إيجاد علاج لمرض السرطان. شهر نوفمبر هو شهر الشكر والشعور بالإمتنان، والتبرع لهذه القضية العظيمة هو وسيلة رائعة لإظهار ذلك. سيقوم كل معلم في الفصل بجمع هذه النقود في جرة, وفي نهاية الشهر يُكرّم الفصل الذي حصل على أكبر قدر من المال على دعوة لوجبة معكرونة من مطعم اوليف كاردن (Olive Garden)! 

سنوفر لكم جرات التبرع أثناء إجتماع الأهالي والمعلمين أيضا! يرجى إعلام معلم طفلك إذا كان لديك أي أسئلة.
