Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring week! We had some really nice weather. I spent a lot of time working in my yard. I hope all families continues to be healthy and safe.

Online learning will start up again tomorrow. Daily online learning will remain the same for our class. One writing prompt, one reading reflection, and 20 minutes of online for math (either Zearn or Edmentum). The two writings can be done on paper and a picture of the writing uploaded to google classroom or sent through ClassDoJo. Which ever one is easier for you. Students should be spending about 2 hours a day on homework. This should not be done at one sitting but spread out throughout the morning or day with break in between.

The writing prompts this week are from Slwa and Zahraa! Thank you both for responding to the Google Classroom document asking for your writing prompt suggestions.

Mr. AbuRus wanted us to make sure you know that we are tracking all students who are doing the work and those who are not. The district is asking for a log of the students who or are not completing the work. I have been keeping track but now the logs will be turned int. Again this is new to all of us and we are learning as we go. We will have another online staff meeting tomorrow and I let you know if I learn addition information.
