Week of November 23rd

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Break.

The Snow PTA will be hosting Holiday Shoppe again this year!  The shop will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, December 8th and 9th, from 9am to 3pm, and on Thursday, December 10th, from 9am to 11am.  Your child will be bringing home an informational note and budget envelope this week.  Also, a reminder note will come home next week that will specifically list your child’s time to shop!  This is a fun event and the kids really enjoy getting to pick out gifts.
Of course we need help and volunteers with setup, shopping assistants, and take down.    The children always need help making decisions and managing their budget.

Dear Parents,

Another week has flown bye.  The students are working hard reading in their reading books, working on more or less, adding or subtracting and learning about the Ecosystem.  Each student is trying and I am proud of them.  We are making many Halloween projects.  I hope you enjoy them as much as we did making them.  Remember tomorrow is our spelling test.  If you have not already returned your permission slip for our Trick or Treating at TenEcky please do so as soon as possible.  Thank you again for a great group of students.

Month of September

It was wonderful to see everyone back from a safe and restful summer vacation.  I will no longer be sending home monthly letters but will try to write weekly on our progress and events for our great classroom.  The students have been working hard on our new unit “We are Leaders”.  They will be taking their reading book home today to read to you.  I hope you enjoy their reading as much as I have.  The month of October will be busy so I will keep you all posted.  We will be have a spelling test weekly and homework twice a week.  Each student has been working on their own goals and objectives set up by the IEP.  Please remember on Tuesdays and Thursdays is our P.E. days, therefore our students must wear gym shoes.

Have a great weekend
