Today was the latest installment of our Special Needs Adapted Physical Education Swim Program.
The students from Howe were are their best behavior and did an awesome job!

The Dearborn Youth Theatre presented Frozen Jr. this week at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
There were many Dearborn Schools students involved and performing.

Today was the annual City of Dearborn Daddy Daughter Dance held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.
This year’s theme was Aladdin!
Everyone had a great time and it was fun for Nada to catch up with the rest of the cast from Aladdin that she performed with this summer.
Students began their Weight Room Fitness Unit at Edsel Ford today.
They will eventually, per usual, have personal workout portfolios measuring their gains over the course of the unit.

We had an awesome tour of the University of Michigan’s Big House and Crisler Arena this week as part of our Physical Education Professional Development.
I would have to say the highlight for me was running into Coach Juwan Howard.
Today was the latest Healthy Dearborn Coalition meeting.
This month’s meeting was hosted at the City Hall Artspace Lofts.
Specifically, our Inclusive Health Team is working on putting together an extracurricular recreational sports and physical activity program for individuals with disabilities.
An important meeting at a cool repurposed venue! Good things are happening in our City and District!
