I gave my student, Mohammad Elayan, the opportunity to lead the PE warm-ups this morning for an entire class of 10th-12th grade general education students and he passed with flying colors and was rewarded by a round of applause!! (See attached video)

Great job Mohammad!! Well done – I’m extremely proud!!

Day 1 of Football! 

It was an honor and I had a great time being asked to participate in the Keynote Speaker’s presentation during our district-wide professional development today that kicked off the new school year!

Today was the Big Read Project Launch at the Henry Ford Centennial Library.

This is the 3rd year in a row that Dearborn has been fortunate enough to run this great program. 

The theme this year is “What’s in a name?” and will feature the book “The Namesake” by Jhumpa Lahiri.

It was nice to see everyone from the community and our partnerships in attendance. 

Proud to be both an educator in the Dearborn Public Schools and the Vice Chair of the Dearborn Public Library Comission.

A great annual gathering at the Dearborn Homecomg. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see families, friends, current and former students, as well as community members!
