The inclement weather today didn’t stop the students in grades 4-8 from running their hardest!! A nice turn-out for the 6th Annual meet. Congrats to the winners and all participants!

Again Proud to be a HYPE Board Member tonight with our partnership with this noble organization fighting to help our community! Also, very proud of SAFE Executive Director,  Hassan Abdullah, a former student of mine from when he was in the 6th grade! 

I have the pleasure of mentoring two new Dearborn PE teachers this year. Moreover, it’s an especially unique situation in that one of them was a student of mine when she was in 6th grade and the other one had me as a professor at Wayne State!! 

I also ran into another former student that I taught in middle school who is now teaching at Fordson!
