Today was the Dearborn Public Library Big Read Kick-off held at the beautiful Henry Ford Anderson Theater.
We’re honored in Dearborn to again have received the grant to run this fantastic program for a 4th time. This also allows for a great City-School partnership. Please stay tuned throughout the year for wonderful events coinciding with the mission.

Today was Edsel Ford’s 2nd semester Community Based Instruction (CBI) trip to the Fairlane Town Center.
I always have a great time on this outing and am always honored that I’m asked to help chaperone!

I had intentions of going home to get some much needed rest after Mardi Gras but was invited to the Wings game and couldn’t turn it down.

Tonight was the Dearborn Education Foundation Mardi Gras Fundraising event.
It proved to be a fantastic time per usual with good food and good company. It was good catching up with old friends and making new contacts.

Today was also a bonus because when we concluded swimming I got to catch-up with some Dearborn Public Schools high school students at the Center for a District Leadership event.

Today was the first match for the Lowrey Middle School Chess Team. The students have been practicing and preparing since the Fall for this. They opened up the season against Stout Middle School:
