Our family makes this great fundraiser an annual event. This year proved to be a wonderful experience per usual. It’s an excellent opportunity to visit with students, parents, community members and DPS staff while raising money for an important cause. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This weekend I ran into a former student from many years ago that I had honored with a very special award when he graduated from 8th grade — The Most Improved Award.
This meant so much to him that he keeps the picture readily available in his photo library on his phone (see pictured). He shared this with me as well as the fact that he is currently in college studying to become a teacher.
After hearing and seeing this — I am now the one honored ….

Mickey Mouse turned 90 this year and the Dearborn Public Library honored the occasion with a special youth event held at the Bryant Branch.
