Very exciting news from yesterday’s Healthy Dearborn Coalition meeting — specifically from our Inclusive Health Committee.

John Waterman from PEAC came to speak to the Coalition regarding bicycle programs for special needs individuals.

This is the organization that we arranged to set-up a booth at this year’s Dearborn Homecoming Special All Stars Day (see earlier blog posts for more information).

We are looking to eventually set-up a summer bike program for special needs individuals along with some training or informational days or appearances at specific schools and/or parent community meetings.
