Today the Dearborn Youth Theatre had both of its showings of Disney Aladdin Kids.

I personally watched all of the actors and participants practice all day and late into the evenings for days preparing for their performances.

A wonderful Dearborn Community event with many Dearborn Schools students and other young residents participating.

This past Friday was the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce Special All Stars Day at the Dearborn Homecoming. It’s a wonderful event for our special needs population and the community as a whole. I was thrilled to see all of the families, friends, and supporters including the administration from the Special Education Department in the Dearborn Schools.

Thanks very much for the support everyone! This is always an exceptional day that our students will always remember!

Our Inclusive Health Committee under the Healthy Dearborn Coalition is taking place in the 8 week Mayor’s Walking challenge. Our group is meeting at the Center for Exceptional Families every Thursday at 12:45pm. Come out and join the walk…

I stopped by for my annual summer school visit at Howe to see how my students are doing. I got to see them performing some yoga – great job!

The Dearborn Theatre Company presented an awesome version of Shrek last weekend at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. It was an outstanding Dearborn Community event. Great job to all the actors and participants!
