This weekend I ran into a former student from many years ago that I had honored with a very special award when he graduated from 8th grade — The Most Improved Award.

This meant so much to him that he keeps the picture readily available in his photo library on his phone (see pictured).  He shared this with me as well as the fact that he is currently in college studying to become a teacher.

After hearing and seeing this — I am now the one honored ….
