Empty Bowls

Another wonderful community experience at the Dearborn Public Schools Art Department and Park Place hosted annual Empty Bowls charity to support Gleaners Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack, local charities that help feed the hungry.  Dearborn Public Schools students did not disappoint with the beautiful  bowl creations made by our Kindergarten to High School students.  It was a lot of fun and all the bowls were so nice, it was hard to choose which one to take home!!

2015 Response to Bullying Extravaganza

It was great to go out in the community and see all stakeholders from students up to city officials get together to stand up against bullying in our schools.  Performances were given by elementary, middle, and high school students.  It was a fun event!

Howe Swimming

The Team having a great time on the opening day of our new swimming program.  This is a collaborative effort with the Dearborn Schools Special Education Department and Hype Athletics.  Everyone, students and adults alike, had a tremendous time and a fun learning experience using the pool at Western Wayne HYPE for our lesson.
