The following note will be going home on Monday so you can help explain to your parents one way you can improve your math grade.
Here is one way to improve math grades: work on math skills daily.
Every Monday, you will be given 6 IXL skills to work on during the week. It will be on the blog if you are absent of forget to write them in your planner. Remember that if you get the answer wrong, an explanation follows.
Every Monday there will be an IXL quiz where the questions will be taken directly from IXL.
You have multiple avenues to get this work done. Not having a computer at home, or having a nonfunctional computer is NOT an excuse for not doing the work. Here’s some suggestions as to where to find time to work on IXL:
- Home computer, smart phone, iPad or any similar device.
- Occasionally, in class, time will be given.
- Before and after school, go to Homework help. You will also be able to ask the teacher if you don’t understand the questions.
- Before school, 7:30am, in my classroom.
- The library.
