Just a reminder that the Honors Assembly is tomorrow (Thursday, January 30) at 2:30. Grades 3-5 will be attending.

Report cards went home with the students today. They can stay at home. Please sign the note so that I know you have received the report card. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

We will be starting a science project in our classroom very soon. We will need about 10 shoeboxes to complete the project. We kindly ask that you donate any shoeboxes that you may have. Please bring these in by Thursday, January 28.

3rd Grade Teachers

Our classroom is out of tissues. We would appreciate donations of boxes of tissues. Thank you!

Students will have a science test on Thursday. They need to be studying their mini book on clouds that they have been bringing home. Students need to know the different cloud types, what they look like, and the type of weather each cloud causes.

This is a reminder that our field trip to the Michigan Outdoor Adventure Center is Friday, January 10. Students need to be at school on time. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Students must also bring a disposable bagged lunch. No lunch boxes, plastic or glass containers allowed. Students will not be able to carry their food around before or after lunch. Students do not need to bring money.

NWEA testing will begin this week. Students will be taking the reading NWEA on Wednesday. They will do math and language next week.

Third grade is going on a field trip to the Michigan Outdoor Adventure Center on Friday, January 10. Permission slips will be going home tomorrow. If you are able to chaperone please let me know. You must fill out an i-chat form in the office.

Wednesday is late start. School starts at 9:35. It is also pajama day.
