This week students created ramps.  They had to create one ramp with more friction and another with less friction.  The students had fun seeing which ramp had the most and least friction.

Myon Website

Today students got on a website called www.myon.com

They have the log in information in their planners.   This website lets them read books online at their level and they can answer questions about the book.  There are a lot of great books to choose from.  The students can read the books by themselves or listen to the books.

Please have your students use this at home as much as possible.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences are November 12, 18, and 19.  Many of you already signed up for a time slot during the parent meeting or at open house.  If you did not sign up, I gave you a time slot.  Today your child is bringing home a paper with your time and day.  Please sign it and return it with your child tomorrow.  If you need to reschedule the conference time, please let me know as soon as possible so we can find a time that works for you.  You can reach me by sending a note with your child or by email.  My email is donoghk@dearbornschools.org
