We have been studying sound in science.  On Friday the students will be having a quiz on sound.  They brought home a study guide on what we have been learning about.

You are to finish reading a chapter book that was approved by your teacher. After you are finished, you are to create a PowerPoint or poster board project with the following information:

*Character Traits of your Main Character-things they like to do, how they act and treat others (bully, jealous, nervous). You should have 4-5 traits _____/10 POINTS

Students have been working hard researching Thomas Edison. They took notes and wrote papers on Thomas Edison. Ask your child what they learned about him!

Gingerbread Houses

The third grade classes will be making gingerbread houses on Friday, December 18.  We would appreciate donations to do this fun activity.  We need graham crackers, white frosting, plastic knives, paper plates, small candy.  For example,  M&Ms, chocolate chips, licorice pieces. If you can donate any items, please bring them to school by Wednesday, December 16.
