   Apr 10

Dear Parents,
We will be taking our classroom trip to Lansing tomorrow, April 11th. We are on a tight schedule. The bus will be leaving before 8:00. Please make sure your child is at school no later than 7:45 to ensure students do not miss the bus. If students miss the bus, they need to check into the office and they will be placed in another classroom at school.
Students must bring a disposable lunch. After lunch, anything left over will be thrown in the trash. We are not allowed to take food on the tours. It is best to not over pack and to put a disposable juice or water bottle in a paper bag. Please try and label the lunch bag with your name before coming to school. Students may bring money, but it is not necessary,to purchase any snacks if they are available or gifts from the gift shop.
Students will not be allowed to bring electronics or backpacks on the bus. We cannot ensure that these items will be secure and they are not allowed on the tours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

Please be back at school at 4:45. We will be back between 4:30 and 5:00 if there are no traffic delays.
This should be a fun day to cement what we have learned in social studies. We look forward to spending this time together for off site learning.

Study Island

Over spring break I would like students to go on Study Island at least five times. I would like them to go on at least two lessons in math and three in reading. Students need to take their time and try to earn the ribbons and not just hurry through. I would like them to click on NWEA when they log in and go to the lessons from there.
