We will be completing a winter craft on Friday. Students need to bring in a long, white sock. The sock should be kid or adult sized and long-please do not bring in ankle length socks. We also ask that the sock is clean.
For our craft, we would also appreciate any other donations:

The way that students log in to Study Island has changed. They no longer need their Study Island user names. They can log in through Clever.
Go to www.dearbornschools.org/students
Then scroll down and on the bottom left hand side of the screen there is a blue box that says Clever.
It should say “log in with Google.” When they click on that, their email is their student number followed by @dearbornschools.org and their password is the same as how they log in at school.
If your child has not been going on Study Island, this is a great resource. They can click on the NWEA section to practice skills that they need for NWEA.

Third grade is planning a field trip to the Michigan Outdoor Adventure Center in January. We have not confirmed a date yet but will let you know as soon as we have a date confirmed. We will be needing parent chaperones on this trip. If you think you would like to chaperone, you must fill out a volunteer form with Mrs. Dawson in the office. Please do so next week. If you think you have filled out one in the past, please let me know and I can double check to see if it is still valid.

Students will be taking the end of module math assessment on Wednesday. We started the study guide review sheet in class today and will be completing it tomorrow during math.
Dear Geer Park Families,
Our school will be collecting canned and dry foods to donate to local food pantries. This will help needy people in our community. Whatever you are able to donate is appreciated. As an incentive, the class that donates the most items will get a party of their choice.
