Students were assigned a book report for March.  Each student has selected a chapter book.  The directions for the book report went home yesterday.  The students need to complete the book report on Google Slides through my Google Classroom page.  This book report is due Wednesday March 27.

I sent home the study guide for math today.  For homework they need to complete what wasn’t finished in class.  We will continue reviewing tomorrow.  I will be giving the math test on Wednesday.

Happy March is Reading Month!

Yesterday a calendar went home.  On one side are the PTA events and on the other are the reading month events.  Please hang on to this calendar as there is a lot of information on it.

Today I sent home a reading log.  We are doing a school wide reading competition to see which class reads the most!  As students read daily, they are to fill in the minutes on the reading log. Please initial the reading log each day.  They also must do a very short reading response.   For every 30 minutes read, students can color in one of the sports objects on the back.  Please have students return the reading log every Friday.  I will be counting how many of the pictures the class has colored in every Friday.  Each Friday I will be giving a new reading log for the following week.

I will be giving the students the social studies test on Monday.  They should be studying their social studies packet.
