Here are the directions for the book report which was assigned over break. The book report has to be a poster or can be done on PowerPoint or the students can log into their students account and send it to me through Google Slides.  The book report is due Monday, January 4,

BOOK REPORT PROJECT

You are to finish reading a chapter book that was approved by your teacher. After you are finished, you are to create a PowerPoint or poster board project with the following information:

*Title and Author is clear ______/5 POINTS

*Summary –Beginning, Middle, End ____/15 POINTS

*Character Traits of your Main Character-things they like to do, how they act and treat others (bully, jealous, nervous). You should have 4-5 traits _____/10 POINTS

*Setting– Describe the setting of the book. Remember, setting is the time and place that the story takes place. _____/5

*Problem: At least 3 sentences _____/5 points

*Solution: At least 3 sentences _____/5 points

*Would you recommend the book and why? (Give at least 3 reasons) _____/10 POINTS

*Pictures (at least 2) _______/10 POINTS

*Creativity____/5

*Neatness ____/10 POINTS

*Spelling, grammar, punctuation ____/5 POINTS

Be prepared to present your project and talk about your book in front of the class ______/ 15 POINTS
